My name is Maria Ioannou and I am 28 years old. Obesity was a significant health problem I have had to deal with. The first visit to my Consultant was the beginning of my journey, and it got me all the way to the end. Each day was a new challenge, in which my Consultant was always by my side and supported me. My life has changed completely. First and foremost, I feel great about myself and have gained confidence. I have put into my daily routine activities that were previously impossible. I have started exercising and taking care of myself. I buy clothes without worrying they might not fit me and I enjoy shopping.
